Dr. Rhonda Patrick encourages the use of highly bioavailable curcumin in its place. Any ole curcumin may not be enough because it must be in a form that your body can absorb.

Just as oranges are a source of vitamin C, turmeric is a source of curcumin. Today, we extract curcumin from turmeric to use as a natural medicine.”

Below is a link to what Dr. Patrick recommends which has been shown in a 6 week clinical trial to reduce pain with 2 mg a day being equivalent to 800mg a day of ibuprofen! That’s significant, guys!

Long-term use of common pain relievers like Tylenol are no better as they have been shown to cause liver damage. So if you rely on pain relievers or anti-inflammatories daily, or even several days a week, please consider looking into this supplement and deciding if a switch is right for you!
