HGH (Human Growth Hormone) is known for increasing energy and mood, decreasing fat accumulations, increasing bone density thereby decreasing our risk for osteoporosis, and is necessary for the resiliency and radiance of skin tissue (tighter, younger skin, anyone?)!

Because HGH begins decreasing after puberty, and by age 40 we have less than 1/3 of what we had in our youth, we need to be proactive in keeping it from plummeting and these are just a few ways to make that happen! .

Intermittent fasting can be done by going at least 12 hours between supper and breakfast. The benefits of truly giving your body a fast are far reaching! .

Eating too close to bed time decreases the production of HGH, which our bodies produce the highest levels of at night. Eating before bed can disrupt this production so call it quits 2-4 hours before you hit the sack.
HIIT training has been shown to be one of the most effective ways to increase HGH. Pick an exercise that has you completely winded after 20-30 seconds, rest for 10-90 seconds depending on how long it takes to recover a bit, and repeat for up to 8 cycles. Do this 2 days a week. Sprinting is one of my personal favorites!
