4 Step Method to the BEST Year + Randy's Diagnosis

How 2024 WILL be different

Today we’re forging into an exercise that will not only help you achieve your physical goals, but also your marital, financial, spiritual, and more because we are going about it DIFFERENTLY than we ever have before!

 

I did this exercise with my Faith Forward Age Backward coaching group on New Year’s Eve and we had an absolute blast paving a way for this new year! (By the way, be sure to jump on my waitlist for the upcoming February round to get VIP priority).

 

To become the woman God has called us to be this year, we need to be more intentional than ever before! So get a pen and a piece of paper, because to become the woman God wants you to be in 2024, we have to get our PTAGs on!

What are PTAGs?

PTAG stands for Practical Tactical Achievable Goals:

Practical – we need to form an effective method

Tactical – we need to form planned actions within our method

Achievable – we need to base each area on an ability to succeed (it can be ambitious, but it must be achievable)

Goals – the outcome we are setting out to achieve

Keeping this framework in mind, it’s time to draw 8 circles on a piece of paper about the size of a quarter or so. At the top of each circle, write one of these words. Feel free to eliminate any that don’t make sense for you:

  • Personal
  • Professional
  • Dwelling
  • Financial
  • Spiritual
  • Physical
  • Marriage
  • Motherhood

By the way, personal is basically all you do to invest in yourself like: dancing, facials, time with friends, etc…anything that refills your cup.

 

Now, thinking in thirds, color in each circle according to how you feel you’re doing in this area. No circle can be left blank. If you don’t feel you’re crushing it in that area, fill it in only 1/3 of the way, doing ok, 2/3, doing great, all the way filled in.

 

Next, write out each word and put next to it why you rated yourself this way the way you did in each category.

 

Next, write out 1-3 practical things you could do on a weekly basis to improve each area. It’s important that there’s at least one that can be done weekly. (Again, listen to today’s episode to hear my examples that I wrote down).

Now circle only one of the 1-3 things in each category. Remember, this should all be achievable, so if you wrote down under spiritual, for example, that you’re going to read your bible for an hour a day 7 days a week and you barely read it for 5 minutes a day all year prior, that’s not setting yourself up for success and, will instead, create overwhelm and prevent success. Got it?

 

So here’s the secret sauce, the gold, the money shot, the difference from what you’ve done in the past…these areas you circled, that one thing in each category are your weekly non-negotiables to becoming the woman you want to be in 2024 which means…

 

These go in your calendar 1st and everything else is scheduled around them! That’s a big shift! We don’t schedule the kid’s activities, the meetings, the doctor’s appointments, etc. first, but rather we schedule all of those things AROUND these non-negotiables or “fundamentals” in our weeks!

 

I’m so beyond excited about this revolutionary way of looking at my weeks, months, and year ahead! I learned this system from Polly of Horacio Printing when going through her course and I’m blown away at the mindset shift it is already creating!
